brado
What's the name of this this game? You fly a type of ship which can be flown around most of the screen and huge bird type enemies fly down from above (top of the monitor). When you shoot them they explode into smaller birds. The further you get through the game, you win more 'sheild' type looking awards at the bottom right corner (kinda like galaga has). It was a pretty fast/action type game from memory, and it isn't 'Phoenix'. Been looking for pics of this game on the net for ages but can't remember the name. Any idea? Womble
Sounds a bit like Wings Of Death on the Atari ST
brado
It came out early 80's, always a crowd playing it. Kind of primitive graphics.
Nidzdotnet
Not to take over this thread but there's a game I've been trying to find but haven't and nobody's been able to find it. It was definately an arcade style game. I remember playing it in a lowboy at my local fish and greasies.. Was like final fight only you had automatic weapons. To this day I still can't find it.. brado
Nah it's not phoenix, also had moving landscapes in the background, not 'space and stars'. Enemies look similar to that bird in phoeinix. Phoenix is a prick of a word to spell:120::120::lol Any good web sites with original 80's arcade games i can check out to find it?? A site with pics??? Administrators Brad Posted March 30, 2009 Administrators Share Posted March 30, 2009 Exerion is a fantastic game.....I love the machine gun mode. Tip, to never run out of machine gun mode I use both buttons at once so you get a blend of fire power and are always re-generating it. Cheers, Brad
