0 retropin
Reasoning for applying wet is that it allows you to move the vinyl round and get perfect positioning. Once this is achieved then all the water + lubricant is squeedgied out. It allows for perfect positioning and negates any possibility of air bubbles, an old credit card is a perfect squeedgy if you dont want to buy a vinyl applicator. Both dry and wet work well, but wet allows a lot more freedom when applying - your registry is not so crucial. It also allows you to remove all backing tape, spray and just place down - no risk of vinyl folding and sticking to itself etc. Wet application is really an insurance policy. If done right - you should get the same results either way
0 Mr_Staypuft
So I used a Rubber Tile grout trowel as i applied it and PERFECT. And here's a photo of the exact tool in question. :) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v369/David_Manning/Pinball/IMG_0498-1.jpg Thanks very much for the tour, Wayne... Sorry I didn't have much time... would have loved to chat more but Mrs_Staypuft didn't come to Melbourne to spend time in your attractive carpark. :lol
