Ah, first business mission of Crisis Plans:

Media Control

Never believe the spin, there is no way they have any clue what damage has occurred this early.

Even if there was damage, they won't admit it this early - their share price could already be fluttering....

Cheers

(PS I work in Business Continuity - I'm always the pessimist)

True that. Problem is these places are always high risk - Fires in fun parks and studios go bezerk in no time... I guess it is all the facade type buildings that have lots of airspace so go up like kindling. Also a lot of the materials they use like expanded foam and fibreglass are nasty - burn fast and toxic to boot...

It'll be interesting to find out what started it. I'll put $5 on 'electrical fault' which always seems to be the 'cause' :D

Given the shitty wiring I've seen in private homes which are permanent, I wouldnt be surprised if dodgy stuff happens on movie sets. I'm sure we've all seen some complete rats nests inside cabs.

here here

i got up in my roof recently to do some work and noticed the tangled mess of wires up there (shitty shoddy work and they still charge $60 + an hour!!!)

as soon as a tradesman enters a roof space the standard is not to remove any offcuts etc

Had one poojabber in the roof while i was at work, he "borrowed" our dishwashing liquid to use as lubricant to make the wires go in the holes easier, and left the fucking bottle up there!!!!:lol
