  1. Senior Sex The husband leans over and asks his wife, "Do you remember the first time we had sex together over fifty years ago? We went behind the village tavern where you leaned against the back fence and I made love to you." Yes, she says, "I remember it well." OK, he says, "How about taking a stroll around there again and we can do it for old time's sake?" "Oh Jim, you old devil, that sounds like a crazy, but good idea!" A police officer sitting in the next booth heard their conversation and, having a chuckle to himself, he thinks to himself, I've got to see these two old-timers having sex against a fence. I'll just keep an eye on them so there's no trouble. So he follows them. The elderly couple walks haltingly along, leaning on each other for support aided by walking sticks. Finally, they get to the back of the tavern and make their way to the fence The old lady lifts her skirt and the old man drops his trousers. As she leans against the fence, the old man moves in.. Then suddenly they erupt into the most furious sex that the policeman has ever seen. This goes on for about ten minutes while both are making loud noises and moaning and screaming. Finally, they both collapse, panting on the ground. The policeman is amazed. He thinks he has learned something about life and old age that he didn't know. After about half an hour of lying on the ground recovering, the old couple struggle to their feet and put their clothes back on. The policeman, is still watching and thinks to himself, this is truly amazing, I've got to ask them what their secret is. So, as the couple passes, he says to them, "Excuse me, but that was something else. You must've had a fantastic sex life together. Is there some sort of secret to this?" Shaking, the old man is barely able to reply, "Fifty years ago that wasn't an electric fence."

  3. I pulled my finger out a month or so ago and got it finished. Life then got too busy so didn't get around to writing it up. There were a few tweaks that were required after the first power up but nothing too major from memory. I did have to make a new light panel for the back of since the old one was swollen and toast. A few pics of the finished product. It plays very fast and smooth.

  5. Kane, Temporarly blinding you was not part of a strategy to gain unfair advantage. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. If you have VPX7 up and running this is a link to BlackKnight2000 with the lights adjusted. If you don't have VPX7 I adjusted all the small GI lights to instensity 20 and the the big GI lights to Intensity 15. (GI Lights are in layer 7) I ended up adjusting the 9 Glow ball layers to intensity 10 and all halo heights to 1. Because the glow ball lights are layered I create a new layer change the setting for the top layer then right mouse click it and assign it to the selected new layer. I then de tick the new layer to make it invisible to change the next layer. Because each GI light position has a big and small light I created another layer for the big lights and assigned them to the new layer. I adjusted the intensity of all the big Gi Lights to 15 then de tick to make the layer invisible then adjusted all the small GI lights to intensity 20. I did the same for the bumpers and I adjusted the small lights to 40 and the large to 20. RusstyT BlackKnight2000RusstyLights.zip - Google Drive

  9. I think that's an apt title as the arcade in question is Space Invaders Part II. 😀 I recently bought another Taito Space Invaders Part II tabletop arcade. Quite the adventure last Sunday driving 200 miles round trip to check it out and buy it! I really like this form factor of Taito TT arcades, with their relative ease of moving with just a couple people. Anyway, the last TT arcade I bought last year I eventually figured out was also a Space Invaders Part II, though one that had been sadly gutted a bit in its past life and fitted with a Ms. Pac-Man bootleg board, I presume in a commercial environment given all the playfield burn-in. I ended-up removing that bootleg board, adapting it to JAMMA, and putting in a 60-in-1 board. My original intent was to get a legit Ms. Pac-Man PCB and just turn it into that. Bought a Class of 81' Ms. Pac-Man / Galaga PCB and got the 60-in-1 just for purposes of testing JAMMA on inexpensive hardware before plugging in the valuable, original PCB. Ended-up just keeping the 60-in-1 in there, buying a Mr. Do! PCB, and disabling all the games I don't have original PCBs for. I have Pac-Man enabled because hey, Pac-Man is an Easter egg on the Class of '81 PCB! Justifiable, right? Anyway, I was a little disappointed the thing had been gutted of the SI2 hardware and wasn't a true survivor once I was clued in that it like was originally a SI2. I get that yanking the Space Invaders Part II and sticking in Ms. Pac-Man would yield a better pay-off for the owner though, even if it was sketchy. I suppose that practice still makes it somewhat of a neat historical piece. Well, despite having the arcade I got nursed into better condition -- non-destructively adapting it to JAMMA, replacing the loud, almost seizing chassis fan, building a functional, locking coin box out of wood (the original was missing), 3D designing and printing some spacers to hold the screen frame under the glass centered in place (it had been duct taped to the underside!), I found another TT for sale semi-locally. It was another Space Invaders Part II! Couldn't resist getting another, especially if it was a decent survivor specimen. Ended up buying it. The best part of it is the screen, which is in excellent condition. So, in going over it a bit (as still a newbie to arcades), I have a few questions for the Taito TT experts about the mech, PSU, and power plug. The coin mech was reported to not be working. Quarters get stuck or outright rejected. As I look at it further I see the mech is an Asahi Seiko 720-D. I took the top part of the mech off by sliding the clip off. Didn't see anything obvious, not that I know what I'm looking for. I dug-up a ¥100 coin from the ol' childhood coin collection, threw that in, and it took it on the first try! Subsequent feedings of the mech with that ¥100 coin though and it rejects that coin maybe 75% of the time. So it seems as though I have a ¥100 mech. Not sure why as I expect if this was an imported set the sound adjustment instructions stapled to the underside would be in Japanese and they're in English. I bought my dad an original Space Invaders that I know was imported from Japan and it's that way. Maybe a past owner of this set had the ¥100 mech installed? I can't seem to find much about the Asahi Seiko 720-D online. My limited understanding of these mechs is that they can be adjusted to accept different coins, though perhaps a specialized adjustment? My other Tatio TT has a coin mech that works just fine, taking quarters, and it's an Asahi Seiko 730-D. I see parts aren't swappable between the two mechs. I guess my options would be replacing the mech with a used one off eBay, getting a new one (I see a Asahi Seiko KWM-740 roll down coin mech for sale on MikesArcade for $55 -- seems very reasonable, though wonder about if it's a drop-in replacement), or maybe even carefully cooking-up an "any coin" 3D printed piece to just let any coins roll through the mech. What I lack in arcade fix it knowledge I guess I kind of make-up with some basic 3D design and printing skills and gear. I see the new KWM-740 mech has a push button for ejecting coins, whereas the others have a more retro looking lever. A brand new mech certainly would look mismatched with the weathered looks of the rest of the cabinet, which otherwise isn't in that bad of condition. I also see that in addition to the wiring for the coin credit switch there's wiring to what I take is an electromagnet, I presume it to attract steel slugs. I also see an electronic component soldered between the connections for the electromagnet. I see the other mech in the other TT I have also had that presumed electromagnet, though it's not connected. Perhaps they just didn't bother connecting it? This thing has the original power supply. Seems to be working fine. Wondering how common functional original PSUs are in these 40 year old arcades. I know the first one I got had a switching PSU installed, perhaps when the Ms. Pac-Man bootleg went in. Guess if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Finally, the power plug is rather interesting. As I look at the part of the plug that faces the wall plate when plugged in, I can see the contact screws. Struck me as bizarre to see the contacts like that. Maybe it's just an old aftermarket replacement plug? Does anyone know what the original plugs on these look like? If it's the original plug I almost don't want to cut it off to cleanly install a new, high quality, replacement plug.

  13. Well i started swapping LEDs around, as i also have a 3rd (B) set of boards that were largely not working. I had the A transmitter board that only 1 LED on that would work with the B receiver. So then used the B transmitter and nothing would work there with the B receiver, but the C (fully working) transmitter would work with 1 LED of the B reciever. So i pulled that working reciver LED from the B board, put it in the LED 2 position of A board (that worked fine with C transmitter, but not A transmitter), and now both A boards work! Confused...cause i am! Anyway, its working, but still doesn't make a lot of sense to me

  15. LOL. Even all the clumsies count ... :lol Sometimes when I play clumsy in a game, you find out something even more about a game. Like taking a power pill in Pac-mania and eat the ghosts up to 7,650 points. Then I clumsied into another pill very quickly, ate another ghost expecting to start from 200 or whatever, and to be surprised to see the scoring continued from 7,650 for every ghost chomped thereafter ...

  20. Thanks Kane, I'll have a bit of a play with the day/night settings tomorrow. I've never had any visual issues with this game on the cabinet and usually play with a fairly dark screen, so perhaps the laptop screen accentuates the whiter colours too much, or maybe it has something to do with the angle that it is being viewed from, compared to standing behind the screen in the cab. I'll plug it into the telly and see how that goes.

  22. I’ve only ever used PDI glass and it’s fantastic 🙂 Years ago I got around 20 sheets down to my house via the last courier he gave us a good shipping quote and the guys who ordered it came over and picked it up easy. Couldn’t be bothered doing it again but someone might wanna do it. Just a thought 🙂

  26. My heavily modified Anycubic i3 Mega has just successfully printed a 25mm test cube out of Polycarbonate!!! I used 270°C nozzle and 110°C bed temperatures. I also used a studymate glue stick from Officeworks on the Ultrabase with a 5mm brim. It ended up being really close to the correct size at 24.96 x 24.86 x 24.95.
