  3. My how the crowd has changed in the hobby @hotty a not so good or fair condition pf in our day was down to wood wear, maybe the odd screw coming up from underneath, insert labels missing etc. Now it seems a dozen dimples and 50 games played is classed as a sited machine lol.

  4. The july update of my website has been done. I've added an adjustment card for Bally Cosmos. The original image for the Bally - How to Remove the Backbox has been added to the zip file. Chicago Coin Casino cards were the wroung size and are now adjusted. Maybe some more Chicago Coin files need adjusting and I will look into that. The colored masks for the Chicago Coin games are now all in one file. Each page a different color, so you can choose which page to print. Gottlieb Canada Dry and Target Alpha had some mistakes in the score cards which are now corrected. I've added German cards to Gottlieb Chicago Cubs Triple Play. A Gottlieb game adjustment label A-17269 to select Credit or Extra Ball play has been added. Someone (Ken) asked me to create a fuse label for a bat game Extra Inning which is now added to the Williams section. A request came in for a relay strip for Williams Serenade. A special request came to create a new set of cards for a Zidware Pinball - Magic Girl. Which I was happy to do. That's all for now. Please look below for the full list of changes. Enjoy pinball and ask some friends over to play a game or two. 5. I had the opportunity to set up CE404 today. Thanks Paul for your integrity. Thanks Shannan for safe delivery. My first JJP, wow, next level ! Blows away Stern LE's I have only flipped 3 balls in 1 game so far and it felt very nice, super smooth. I will not be playing further until my Cliffy kit arrives and I update the 3 suspect posts. Longer posts, 6 ball baron carbons and perfect play clears arrived super quick from RTBB, thanks Nino. The wifi connection and update from 1.18 to 1.22 was easy and took less than 10 minutes. The finish of the cabinet and playfield is stunning. No tearing or pooling, just mint. 404 is a March build. The audio quality out of box is lack lustre, mids are too rich and there is no low end. I haven't installed topper as yet and my klipsh sub won't play the game at this stage, while connected to th pc audio jack. Looks like a pinwoofer kit is on the cards. Overall the game is simply stunning and I look forward to putting a few games on when I get hardware updates complete.

  6. I think your picture is Bad, not high enough res to tell what you are talking about, but expect a 30 year old machine to have some insert wear

  7. Low plays and pf protection, They don’t make them like they used to. Played a few hours last night with 4 mates on a brand spanking NIB new Jurassic Park. Not once did the owner have concerns over amount dimpling or games played, So if guys are saying their machines have been played 50 -100 times over a year or 2 then get some friends and enjoy each other’s company.

  9. Welcome to AA. There’s a fair few pinheads over here in WA now. Good luck in your search for your first pin. Even more luck needed if you want to keep it just the one!

  14. Possibly a long shot… But a very good mate has gone out of his way to help me and my family, so I’m wanting to return the favour. Because of my influence over the years, he’s grown to enjoy and now love pinball. He’s yet to own one of his own, so I’d love to gift him a pinball that I either restore for him or possibly we can restore together. If you have an early Stern, Sys11 (Williams/Bally), through to DMD in need of a little love, which you’d be willing to sell at a reasonable price for a good cause then please contact me. Thanks.

  17. Hi John, thanks for the response! It's odd that they'd have an angle, but not use a Z bracket. I checked out your collection, it's very cool! The bones of the cab I have looks exactly the same as your Taito videoframe upright! Cheers, John

March build, has clears on sling posts. The trouble posts are tight As Fck. But im not gonna risk art tear so my game is just a fancy jukebox for now, I got the sub working and installed the topper, Sound is now kick ass . Don't forget to get new balls. 6 x Ball baron Carbons from RTBB are perfect. Ando

  28. My $100 worth...I'm glad it's that much...will sort out who really wants to come, appreciate the time, cost and effort of Leigh. Lets not forget about the guys who help make it happen (Dan, Edy, Furball and a few others). This is a meet to celebrate Rocky (and Toads for me) where we can talk about all the times together. All hosts know what its like to organise - $20 for the night doesnt cover anything - too cheap for the usual night meets. Anyway, like the snake above, I don't usually bite (when sober LOL) , but not this time - didnt take long. If you don't like it don't comment.

  29. Yeah, sorry Jeff, I didn't read it properly. I can't remember if I paid for the last one that was cancelled either? If it's too hard to trace back, I'll pay again anyway. I'm happy both ways, because I just want to be there. Yeah.

  30. Everyone’s idea of good is completely different. My good may be your mint or someone else’s cactus. Never go off descriptions unless you know the seller and their idea of good, bad or otherwise. you need good pictures to make your own mind up on condition.

  33. Left magna save is likely to be down shift, which I think doesn't matter in general play when it says shift gears, but it does go down gears in Video Mode. I always go straight to 5th in video mode.

  34. Loaded the beatles game JAR. Plays very different to seawitch. I like the table darker to see the ball (reduced light emissions to 1.7) and a bit more bouncy and I'll try it with JPs Arcade physics. Scotty is incredible & love that he took it back to 1964. Also I noticed that Theatre of magic has a lot of playfield sounds allocated to the Backglass. I toggled these to the table and they are all adjustable with mechanical sound volume script line. I can hear the backless music and callouts fine now. That game is an eye popper and so much fun. Cheers mate. I learn so much from this competition. Thanks mate

  36. Hi you lot, Hope it was ok to post this here with little update on the NNC rather than do a new thread in the restoration forum. Did a little project that's been bugging me about the NNC....paint the monitor frame 😀. Quick job mask it up (stickers, mounting points, and one small point on the underside for a grounding wire) Lightly sanded entire frame and wax grease remove, wash down/dry and prime wash down/dry. Then 5-6 coats of the ole Dymark gloss white. Not even sure if these frames on the NNC need to be grounded, but I put a point in there anyway just incase (there is bare metal under that nut) . The other end of this ground wire will go straight near the common ground point near the I/O of the cabinet. Hope everyone's well. -Tom
