  2. Hi, I’ve had enough of seeing the “you’ve never posted message! So, I’ve subscribed, and ... I got my first pinny at the start of 2018 - Dirty Harry. A few months later I stumbled on a Spanish Eyes for $200 - I’ve restored and just need to work out how to set to free play. Since then, I’ve added Superman project, Hulk, Xenon project Jack in a Box, Rocky and Bullwinkle project, Jungle Lord project, acdc, pharaoh (via this site) and Wizard of Oz. The projects have given me a hobby - which I needed. Thanks

  12. A little bit out the box but you could trim up some scrapers. They are thin and flexible, and would do the job. https://www.bunnings.com.au/craftrig...r-set_p5760135

  21. Yes, yes mate, just make sure your eye/s are good for once! Another eye op today. You know what they say about going blind..........I reckon you've been doing too much of it! If doing the job right, then brass/gold plating will need clear over the top if lockdown bar and/or rails are being done, as hands touch these surfaces a lot. You know me Rob, I like to do the job right.

  31. I did - the reason for the differences is that by default my database merges scores on the same game from multiple MGLs (so I'd only count Q*bert once for example). Also, the database merges each time a game is played into a single master record for that game (so the 9 that I mentioned are scores that are in the all-time top 10 for those games). I need to keep practising to get more!

  33. I think they’ve made the RGB kit compatible with the original MMR’s - maybe a new board needs to be added. But that’s all part of the kit. I hear it’s a bit of a job installing but it’s worth it. Pretty sure the first Oz batch is sold out, but not sure.

  34. Shit, totally forgot. Been a crap ass day dealing with the fallout of the Victorian shutdown. So over this shit. Thank god we’ve got pinball to keep us sane.

  35. I doubt it as the boards would work with the new system that CGC has produced

  38. Sometime the faults shown is not always the fault. 1lose screw hits opto board.. 2 or evrytime that thing moves witch is braking a connection or shorting.. 3 Or a faulty opto which i have had.. 4 or that screw got Jamed on that thing which make it think is not moving there for not registering the opto which makes it think there no power to it.. 5 Or its a typical ****ing William machine where if you don't turn on the game for a while it just wants to **** your life for no reason... 6 or your shit at the game and could not hit the target there for its thinking its a fault because the target has not been hit for a while

  39. Bit of both Brett.....It’s from a high end restorer’s own collection. He’s from Belgium and was selling these 3 at the same time I had some containers leaving for work. So these games filed what would have been empty space since you pay per container regardless.

  41. Finally, the time has come to start repopulating. I wanted to keep the re-cleared playfield bare for as long as possible. Feels nice and hard now. I’ve ordered some new black oak rails from Reese Rails in the US. They original weren’t in bad shape, but weren’t perfect. Should finish off the job nicely. Cabinet still needs the door inners rebuilt which I’ve been avoiding 😆... slowly getting there.
