If past collections cound then i would have a crap load more. I used to work in a video game store and whenever something cool got traded in i always got first dibbs on it. I used to have a fully boxed japanese n64, as well as the various limited edition colors. Used to have the crystal clear xbox, used to have two sega cd's (the first model) plus a genesis to go with it.

I sold alot of it when i moved into arcade gaming though. I think that is what alot of ppl do?

Does past collections count :(

Well i've had every system that ever came out in aust + a few overseas (i think) (yes including the hanimex ping pong before atari)... I think my fav was the neo geo cart. I remember forking out $450 for samuri showdown, man wasn't that the most expensive cart i ever brought. I also had the 3DO which horde was one of my fav games.

Hmm... off the top of my head..

NES, SNES, N64, Game cube

Gameboy orignial, colour and advanced.

Atari 2600, Lynx

Sega master system, Mega drive, 32x, Mega cd

Saturn, DC, Game gear

PS1, PS2, XBOX

Probably a few i'm forgetting, pretty much everything sold in OZ. Neo geo was one i always wanted but was too expensive, hence the reason i bought my first arcade machine with 1 slot :)

Dam, must of had deprived child hood, had stuff all, but at the old's house still have original pong game that came out in the 70's I think plus another we found at markets and the ol' faithful atari 2600..

The pong game we got also has the gun for a pretty basic shooting game it had built into it..

But somehow we got a pinny when I was about 10 so suppose that took the edge off game systems for me..

Nah not really, better off not having much of this crap if you can't balance your life as well. I've always been into my games, but i've never let it impact on the rest of my life. Always been really into sport etc. My brother on the other hand is the sort that will sit in a dark room and play to all hours of the night and you couldn't drag him out of his room even if you tried.

Unless it's a really good game ;)

I went missing for a week when Half-Life 2 came out :D

But you're right, Im a big gamer but I nver let them take over my life. Im still into my sport etc I only ever had an Atari when I was at school, so my school life was never really affected.. though I do remember playing Half-life and Duke3D instead of studying in yr 12 :)

That's pretty cool! I bet you're friends loved you!

I'm 23 and people are impressed when I tell them I have a pinny!

I agree there have been times when i have been like that. When i was playing final fantasy i was playing it for hours a day, till i had a dummy spit at it lol. But even then i was playing it at like 10pm when there was nothing better to do.

Sort of funny, people will just mention to me that there computer is stuffed or something and i will offer to fix it. And they will be like 'what the f' do you know about computers?' And i will be like 'Ah i have a degree in computer science.' I think that's the way to be, that i don't mention any of that stuff to people that arn't into it.

Must be someone out there that has more then me.

Some stuff that i am missing. Atari 7800, Atari jaguar and cd, Neo Geo aes and cd, neo geo pocket, 3do. Just to name a few.

I stopped collecting console stuff and moved onto arcade stuff when i actually had the chance to buy all that sort of stuff on ebay. Last console stuff i bought was a whole heap of mega cd games.

I probably should also to that list:

The alimight commodore 64, both the bread box and new style systems.

A few game watches (Donkey kong 2 etc)

A couple pong clones

Also i should note that most of this stuff i bought in it's prime or there abouts, the nes and saturn were really the only ones i went back and bought later.

I actually did buy a neo geo pocket of ebay for like $30, but then the A-hole screwed me over and wouldn't send it to me

All the Neo-Geo pockets I saw on eBay (when I was looking) were mono not colour.

Time for a laugh.

Currently I own:

Sega Saturn

Sega Megadrive I

Original mono GameBoy

Famicon Clone (you know those x in 1 clones. This ones shaped like a PS2)

Donkey Kong & Oil Panic Game and Watch

Namco 5in1 v2 (Ms Pac Man, Galaga etc.)

That's it. Have owned:

Pong (the one with the light gun)

Atari 2600

C64

Playstation

GameBoy Colour

I don't currently own nor do I want (have even given specific instructions to wife never to buy as gift) either a PS2 or XBox.

I also don't play PC games. The only PC game I currently own is the Atari Anniversary edition.

Okay I won't

Bugger!!!!!!!!!!!!

I won this auction for next to nothing, like $30 with a game. Anyway i think the guy was expecting more like $150 for it. So he wouldn't send me the thing or give me my money back. One of only a few times i have been screwed over on ebay. Probably about 3 out of 100 odd transactions.

I don't really play ps2 or xbox. They sit in my brothers room. Only games i was midly interested in on them were, halo, outrun 2(for about half a day) and grand turismo.

When it comes to pc games, only 2 i really play are generally and total soccer. Which are both like 5mb freeware games.

I really started losing interest in games when they started going 3d. I was into the first generation of 3d games, duke nukem (One of my fav games of all time, but only the demo, the first 3 levels are the only good ones which i played to death :) ) , descent etc then i lost interest.

Most of these I bought in last few years for a song.

When i bought mine, they were still for sale in retail shops but they were on the way out, so i would pick up all the games and consoles for nothing. I really have a problem paying more then $20 for a console game lol.
