rod71
if anyone in Sydney knows how to fix one of those things as shown in the mug shot, please pm me. Shouldn't be hard if it's purely mechanical. If it has electronics and a hopper it's most likely a boat anchor.

rod71
Not the answers I was looking for but I can see the logic behind them! What game is it? If it's a Bally you're in luck as even though they are electric with a hopper etc, they can be fixed. They even use some EM pinball parts :)

rod71
Check this out: https://www.aussiearcade.com/forum/arcade/arcade-technical-and-repair-questions/71340-aristocrat-super-2up-poker-machine-problem Yeah it sucks. as there's no knowledge, parts or paperwork for them here. You could try New life games forums, as the 80's Aristocrats were rebadged as IGT's in the US.
Gemini2544
The mechanical pokie faults are easy to fix. the most common issue is they have dried grease in the wheel axle mechs. So a degrease & re-lube will fix most issues.

Gemini2544
I've got a boat anchor here at the moment. Processor board corroded from battery acid. No data anywhere so it will be going back to it's owner as it arrived DOA. :cry
