        PSU as a power supply

        I use an ATX PSU in my recent cabinet build. I think they’re excellent.

        Mine is a 550W that I picked up for $25 from the recycle Center.

        Just have to connect the two pins together. PS_On and Ground if I recall to make it always on.

        After that you should have heaps of connectors available. Just cut/strip and crimp connectors on the 12V, 5V and grounds you need. I use terminal blocks from jaycar to connect to Jamma harness etc.

        I run all my leds and amplifier as well as the game boards from it.
