  • LED Strips for Apron - Flipper Area

Simple inexpensive Mod from Comet Pinball.....

They sell LED's and whilst looking around their Web Store I discovered "Matrix SMD Strip kits", which makes adding LED light strips to pinballs really simple.
The kits are all plug and play and come with multiple way's to connect to currently installed lighting. This includes, Wedge, Bayonet and Alligator Clip connection option's (as pictured)

The kit's I used in Getaway (Red) and NBA Fastbreak (Orange) were $4:50 each Australian, and postage (for a change from the USA) wasn't crazy $16 Australian.
I bought 4 kits plus some extension wires and a few LED bulb's that most other local suppliers don't stock.

Anyway here is the result on the apron's lighting up the flipper area..

Nice! They make quite a difference.

I think Babak in Brisbane also has 6v strips.

      Nice.
I don't need any more lighting down at the drain hole.
The balls know exactly where it is

Going to give these a shot as I've had flickering issues with other strips. They have some cool stuff on the comet site.

I'm happy so far and for the price it's a no fuss, no brainer for me. I'm sure there are cheaper ways to do this but this was really simple plug and play...

Nice idea. I just put apron strips in my pins too and it looks great. Thanks for motivating me to do it

Yep, I do the same. Babak's LED strips are awesome and easy to do. Great mod to do.
