• Addams Family display driver board

Hello all. Can anyone point me in the right direction please? I need to purchase a new display driver board for an Addams family. Would like a new one if possible. I believe the part number is 5760-12710-00. Thanks in advance. P.s. preferably here in Oz.

All I know is it doesn’t work properly. I have swapped it with another one and the display works fine. The other one looks a bit toasty at the bottom on the back side. It still works, (just), but not as bright and has almost half of it lost when it’s on the display.

Hey Bishop been a long time mate

Most display board problems can be fixed, typically the high voltage section at the bottom of the board goes and needs the components replaced. Send the board to Ken Skybeaux who can do the HV repair and test the board fully (has a WPC testbed). Itíll be cheaper than replacing the board

Brett is right - possibly an issue with one of the high voltage circuits going out of spec. You'd need to check the voltages to confirm. Are you in Sydney? If so, I can fix it up for you - bring it around today if you're free. Otherwise Ken is the best bet.

For some reason I didn’t think Skybeaux did these boards. Will have to give Ken a call.
