slevbro
Finished Paragon today. Repainted the cabinet using stencils from Pinball Pal. I have used a differnet type of stencil before, to paint Mata Hari, these were a thinner vinyl and were a pain in the ass to use. The Pinball Pal ones were nice and thick and easy to remove to realign and didn't fold over and stick to itself and are most likely reusable. Was very happy with how it turned out and gave it a quick clear coat to protect it. Also removed the old brown crap mylar which was on it.The playfield is alright but right on the verge of coming apart in some areas,so i put down some touch ups were i could and then put some new mylar over it. The colour is heaps better then before, you can finally see the whites. Had new plastics already and bumper caps. Put in new drop targets and a new door skin. Always happy when it goes back together and plays, even without all those screws i got left over... Here is a link to some pic's of the finished machine.......http://s998.photobucket.com/albums/af105/pinballdom/Paragon/ Really sorry there are no "before" pic's as i put them onto a disk and now i cant load the f#%king things, grrrrrr, made rebuild a bit tricky in parts. Last time i looked they were like $70US plus shipping from the States or something. Also the coin reject button. Is that new?.
