I have been waiting for someone to do a repaint with a roller I have been trying to do a bit of research on it, what sort of roller did you use I have heard of people using micro nap rollers ? also I want to do one of my old Gotliebs eventually and was wondering what paint do you use normal semi gloss/ gloss from Bunnings or auto paint and what colour white did you use ? you would be surprised how many whites there are, any way great result and sorry for asking so many questions just curious as im new to painting cabs

Very nice result. It's great to see restores done with different equipment - makes a project accessible to many more pinheads (& roller is definitely less messy). Nice job. Ice.

Will be redoing that page to include using contact, self adhesive and waterslide decals

Thanks Dave - you better get cracking

Will be experimenting with waterslide decals on the next project - Bally Bullfight
The artwork on this machine should be ideal for waterslide decals.

The backbox, cab and coin have been scanned in sections, before I stripped the paint,I traced onto greaseproof paper for section alignment.
I have all the scanned & adjusted sections in PST files. I also have the paint details (not exact as original)

Just been having a good look at your pinball Australia website and really enjoyed what I saw especially liked the way you set up and went through step by step on the resto work, nice touch with the bingo machine section as well I remember playing those in the late 70s, I know some people hate them because they think hey no flippers but I loved them trying to build up those credits to sell back to the operator and the noises that they make the clicking and motors turning I love them, would love to pick up a good one, one day but really good ones don't come up often at all.
                              Keep up the good work
