Wild Fyre - The Cabinet

Recommended Posts

Ive already posted on the PF restoration of this game. Now its time for the cabinet.

This had a rollered finish with some rough graphics over the top somewhat resembling what was meant to be there. This all had to be riubbed back of course and any dings ( there were quite a few!) needed to be filled with builders bog, corners built up again etc. This is then undercoated twice and rubbed smooth.

here it is in my mates spray shop waiting for the base coat

Base coat is sprayed on using state of the art respiratory equipment - always good to keep a spare T shirt hanging around for these moments

This is given 24hrs to fully set and stencils are applied - there will be more info on the stencils at a later date

Stencils are removed and process is repeated for the black, the final results are here

I lifted the stencil on this last picture to get some overspray - just to add a more authentic touch.

Cabinet is all done, steel rails have been regrained and will be applied, door also has been restored to original. Once its all together again, ill post once more just to show the final product. Theres a few electronic niggles to iron out first - the deeper i go with this pin the more problems it throws at me
