As I mentioned in another thread I have been too time poor to do any Pinball restoration for quite a while but hopefully that will change in a couple of years

 

Will post pics of these when I am eventually doing them :)

 

My queue

 

El Dorado Cab repaint

 

Playboy Playfield swap and cab repaint and finish repinning connectors to fix the lighting issues

 

Firepower Playfield swap

 

Black Hole .. cab repaint , playfield touchups, and get it working from dead (for years)

 

Thoro Bred .. finish putting it back together

Ok for me..in rough order..

 

Finish Fathom bits and pieces from external restorer

Finish Meteor bits and pieces from external restorer

Getaway retheme finish x2 for my brother and I. Cabs done.

Bop playfield swap with custom one, Cab done.

Custom Dracula "Gothic Edition" , Cab done

Barracora cabinet, playfield done - depending if staying or not

Convert Firepower over to Nw7 board and stereo sound

Pinsound shaker custom programs in Getaway project, Bop, Dracula and Creech

 

 

Pipeline (or pipedreams!)

 

Custom Creech cab, machine already restored

Fishtales retheme

 

 

Also doing some custom speaker panel projects, translites and plastics for friends.

 

Should take me well into my 50's !!

Afm full restoration. A rough players at the moment.

Wh20 cabinet and playfield clear

Judge dredd cab tidy up

Banzai Run playfield to finish

Elvira full restoration.

Finish off the hook I started a year and a half ago.

An old em to get up and running. Top speed

Sof to finish off. Nearly there with this one.

Reading the thread so far I'd say I'm one the "luckier" ones as my list seems to be shorter than some.

 

Bally playboy;

Does work now after a new rectifier board but I do have the CPR works deal. I.E, PF, BG, Plastics and even the topper and still has the original bally (whiteish) top guide plastics. It will eventually get the works including a cab overhaul. I just need some room:redface

 

Roadshow;

Custom siderails need to go on and a full rerubber.

 

CFTBL;

Have swinks snack bar mod V.3 to go on

 

Tommy;

Currently working on that for a tidy up and awaiting stuff from O/S and RTBB. Was hoping to get it to Pinfest but life gets in the way sometimes.

 

Centaur;

work out multiball loading problem. I'll have to get it back from babysitting 1st.

 

Flash Gordon;

Running pretty well as is Fathom, Firepower

mystery pin 195* - waiting for details to exchange for arrival - will be full ground up resto, new backglass, plastics etc.

You have to keep a Firepower;) It's the only Williams SS I have in my Bally Alley:)

 

I think you should get a Gorgar as a friend for your Firepower. Firepower & Gorgar are my only 2 SS williams amongst the SS Ballys. Also I recommend doing the drop target retrofit to FP.

Restoration I don’t know about others but I struggle to find decent machines at all, and when you do find something they want a price as if the machine is already fully restored but in fact it needs a full restoration
