    • -- BPC XMAS BASH --

      "It's the most wonderful time of the year..." as the song goes. Time to say goodbye to the strange and weird year that was 2020 with the annual BPC Xmas Bash.

      Next Monday, 21st December from 7pm in the halls of the Netherworld. Doors open from 4pm with all pinballs on free play.

      $15 entry will get you entry into the social Flip Frenzy event and includes your first drink. Everyone is welcome, regardless of how many events you have participated in this year.

      We will pause about half way through the Flip Frenzy for the annual BPC awards. This year we will be presenting awards for the following:

      * Club MVP
      * Male Player of the Year
      * Female Player of the Year
      * Summer Series MVP
      * 2020 Breakthrough Player
      * Players' Player award (details below)

      *** Introducing the ROB BURNES MEMORIAL "PLAYERS' PLAYER" AWARD ***.
      As we all know, our club lost one of it's stalwart members in Rob Burnes earlier this year. Rob was an integral part the club, whether it be greeting new members, providing help and assistance, or simply being there with a smile on his face and a firm handshake each and every week.

      With the blessing of Rob's family, this year and every year moving forward, we will be presenting the "Players' Player" award, as voted for by the peers of the Brisbane Pinball Club.

      This award is not so much about a players' performance, but more so about who shows the same qualities that Rob displayed during his time with us.

      To vote, please send your player nomination to Jason's email - dj_j2008@hotmail.com . Voting closes 6pm this Sunday night. (Please note that Jason, Jimmy and all Netherworld staff are ineligible to be nominated).

      We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible for our 2020 Xmas Bash this Monday night!
