The monsters are angry and it is time for the Revenge of the pinball nightmare!!!

 

You and the person you’d most trust to survive a monstrous nightmare assault on your pinball bravery must take on 8 frightfully unique pinball challenges that will test you to your core.

 

Over 8 horror themed machines, you’ll confront 8 different creative and weird challenges that will inhibit your senses, your co-ordination and your soul. Each duo can help each other traverse the terror and you’ll score points as a team. The nature of these challenges will be revealed online before the day of reckoning.

 

The duo that most successfully battles these terrifying creatures and lives to see another day will win a massive horror themed prize pack.

 

This year you'll also be venturing down into the mystery that is the Netherworld dungeon. A few of the nightmarish challenges will exist in the NETHER of the Netherworld where untold, indescribable horrors occur.

 

Entry for your team of 2 is $30 and comes with 2 limited enamel pins, 16 gaming tokens (8 games each) and 2 beers.

I want to say thank you to everyone at Netherworld who helped make this happen. I'm not going to spoil it by posting pictures before Jimmy gives the OK. But, if you weren't there, I strongly suggest you go next year.

 

The dungeon was something you really had to see to believe. People must have spent weeks planning this and getting the space ready. Absolutely awesome, thank you again!

1 - Scared Stiff - The Terror In The Crate

• one player is inside a crate with only their arms protruding to touch the flippers
  
• partner must yell instructions
  
• no touching, voice or knocking on the crate only
  

 

2 - The Munsters - Dragula

• foot pedals control the upper playfield flippers
  
• NOS buttons on the steering wheel control the lower playfield flippers
  
• players must hold the steering wheel with both hands at all times and not use the machine for balance
  

 

3 - Frankenstein - Two Heads, Four Right Hands Stall Ball

• players must be tied back to back in a hessian sack and each wear two right hand monster hands
  
• players must spin 180 degrees when the ball stalls in either of the 4 scoops or the trough during ball save
  
• players must play a two player game and spin left during player one balls, and spin right during player 2 balls
  

 

4 - CFTBL - Creature Feature Whirlpool Stitch Up

• players must view the ball through the 3 holes in the spinning whirl pool
  
• eye line must stay above the whirl pool at all times
  

 

5 - Dracula - Sunset Over Bat Town

• players must play with their vision impaired by the swinging bats, rats on the playfield and the sunset spotlight
  
• players may push the bats out of the way or hold them with one hand and play one handed

• players must play with thier back to the machine and use one of the 9 mirrors to track the ball
  

 

7 - Ghost Busters - Don't Cross the Symmetrical Book Stacking

• players must play with their heads over the machine looking down at the flippers
  
• they must also cross arms and crontrol the flipper on the opposite side of the machine
  
• if they knock over the stack of books on top of the flippers they receive a zero for that game
  

 

8 - The Walking Dead - Chained & Brained Gang

• players are each cuffed to a piece of chain over a pole
  
• due to the length of the chain, only one player can reach the pinball machine at any one time
  
• players must work together to jump back and forth to control the ball
