  • Had an offer on my pinball for sale ...

Had some strange offer's in my time on eBay
but this one sounds pretty good....

    Quote:

Hi would u be keen on trade with $13250 worth of Professionally Valued/Certified Diamond Ruby rings

    End Quote/

Asking $3850 or offer for the pin.

      Walk away!
      My wifes ring cost $2500
but was valued at $5500 by a valuer, valuations are only for insurance purposes!@

When you go and sell these rings/diamonds you will get shit for it!

Its like when I used to collect Aussie notes/coins, the dealers were paying me $1000 for items worth $5000 - sold on ebay for $5000

potential buyer say's they are returning
        30 - 45% on there valuation.

I have advised him or her to sell them
        and then make an offfer.

            ROFLMAO.
Gems have very different valuations on markets to what jewellers offer. Had my wife's engagement ring handcrafted this way for a quarter of what high street jewellers were asking.

Go to a jewelly auction and you are luck to see lots go for 20% of their "valuation"

As for the offer, it's a total shonk. Probably glass 'gems' in plated rings if it even exists.

one would have to wonder if they were
valued at so much why wouldnt you sell
them yourself and then spend the money.

you seem to get them all on eBay..
