XYGT.........don't do that to me Brendan.

:o

Guy has not got back to me, he had several amusement items for sale, just had a starting price for them of $1000, so obviously some were more. I assumed the Gorgar would be more as well.

Had a look at the Gorgar today. He also has a "Ice Revue", "Pro-Football" and "The 30's".

He is selling as he needs the money.

Overviews for anyone interested in having a look:

GORGAR

Playfield lights worked.........and that was it.

Stated a sound chip was missing.

No sounds at all, displays didn't light up etc etc.

Mylar is bubbling in large areas and will have to be removed.

PF and plastics are in very good condition.

Cabinet is OK, apart from "GORGAR" on left side being repainted in blue and whole side touched up.

Backglass is very good.

He threw me the old line of "It's probably just a couple of fuses".

On/off switch on bottom of cab had been bypassed (i.e. turned on via siwth at wall socket).

Stated he had the machine 8 years.

I took the BG off and the MPU board is missing.

I put an offer in anyways.

ICE REVUE

BG 8

PF 7

Cab 6

Score motor continually runs, problem with score reels, flippers very sluggish.

Can still play a game, sort of.

PRO-FOOTBALL

BG 8

PF 8

Cab 7

Score motor runs a lot, then stops (dirty contacts I'd say), problems with score reels. Some games are 1 ball, others 2 or 3. Suggest stepper unit problems, possibly also combined with score motor.

The 30's

I'm not sure if its for sale. Cracked BG, did not turn it on.

man - if i was closer - would jump on the ice revue

Yeah, I gave it some thought.

Trouble is I have too many projects on the go already and my wife is now talking about repainting the house, finishing the back yard etc etc in our holidays.

Fuck knows where I will find time to do things I want.

he also has (had :badgrin ) a shooting gallery

bought that one today (picking it up over weekend), should have owned it a couple of years ago but current seller outbid me at an auction, worked out better as i got it for less than what my bid was at that auction second time around, ( wasnt at an arcade game auction )

i would grab the ICE REVUE as well but seller reckons he has someone interested in it for $2000, may or may not be true as his story keeps changing (and its still there) and its not worth that in its current condition to me :rolleyes

a mate of mine has the cpu for GORGAR but has misplaced it (seriously), i havent spoke to him but have been told hes trying to find it from seller :cry

heres a pic of my shooter

all games have been sold :cry

i was around there yesterday to pickup my gun game and a couple of guys were loading up all the pins

one guy bought ICE REVUE for $1500 and PRO FOOTBALL (not sure how much)

other guy bought GORGAR (cpu turned up) for $1000

not sure how many realise but the games havent appeared in the trader yet, only on there website :o

so my guess is seller will be swamped with calls next week with nothing to sell :cry

hes a bloody funny guy that one :unsure
