I like to use Fusion 360 for some of my stuff.

What budget do you have in mind for a 3D printer?

A thread exists here which may help you.

We print everyday at my work. We have had a whole heap of different printers (more and less expensive) over the years and now we only use the Flashforge Inventor I.

We have 3 of them at the moment and they are fantastic. You might need to do about 3 minutes of maintenance/levelling per year and if you do need them (we haven't) parts are cheap and readily available. Our prints work every time. From memory they are just over $1k if you shop around, so they are probably more than you are hoping to pay.

We mostly use AutoDesk Inventor to draw models, but if you want to use free software, OnShape is not too bad.

I hope that helps.
