  • Got my A$$ out of gear and painted my RC - MCD Race Runner

Had this RC car for just over a year, still in the box nothing done.
So, have a motor, TX and RX and some bits and peices on order.
I then decided about time I painted and cut out the body.

Here's it as it stands, still have to get an exhaust for it...

As in the tile MCD Race Runner.
It's a 1/5 scale buggy. Got a 29cc 2 stroke Zenoha engine coming for it. They also have just released a Short Course truck, so I'll eventually get the conversion kit for that..
      Thanks for the comment

                Cheers all,
I'm stoked as I need to by new radio set, and decided to get the Futaba 4PK.
Well after hunting around for best price (RC Mushroom) I got a even better deal from Tower Hobbies.
I signed up for their membership ($10, and you get $10 off frieght, so basically get your money back, plus then opens up to special offers)
I also received an email to get $125 off if buying over $400, or $100 off if buying over $300 etc.

When I logged on after buying membership, they also had a deal on the 4PK, where they give you an extra receiver (TX). This is worth about $50, sweet.
Then when adding it to my shopping basket, it went in for $50 cheaper. Even better.
So then I could offered a spare LiFe battery, claim for the $125 discount ontop... So pretty happy with that.

Will do more photos when motor arrives, be next month before I can afford the exhaust/.//

1/5 scale are so menacing in size. I love 'em, just can't afford the pleasure myself ATM. Need a pic with something else like a coke can to appreciate the scale.

                      Just di my other body.
It was not made for my car, but have seen it fitted and looks good, a few mods for the posts which can be easily reversed. Also tried experimenting with the paint.

And the size compared to a Coke Can
