Do things like ScummVM and Exult count? What about the VGA upgrade of Ultima IV?

I’m going through a process right now of trying to find arcade games for Mac OS, iOS and TVOS that I can use with my Steel Series MFi controller. So far some good ones are:

        iPhone:
        Raiden Legacy
        R-Type
        R-Type II
        Giana Sisters
        Alsteroids

        TVOS:
        Giana Sisters
        Sky Force (this is awesome)

MacOS: I haven’t spent any time lately looking for games but a while back I found “Lep’s World” in the store which is some kind of Mario clone but with a leprechaun as the main character.

There’s a lot of crud to sift through with plenty of tribute games such as Moon “Crest” and Pluto Patrol on iOS, and they can be fun, but I don’t like he touch interface on arcade style games.

I'd suggest renaming the thread to add "and new releases", as quite a bit of stuff coming out is brand new & not ports/new versions!

Do you mean new release homebrew for old platforms ? There is a lot of it around. That needs a unique thread i think... This one is more to do with remakes/remixes of existing old classics.

I'm adding 'Galaga Wars' to the list. Never been much of a mobile gamer, but after finally getting a phone capable and installing it yesterday for Android i keep coming back trying to get to the next sector. Good fun, and no button mashing. (But I'm not a fan of the forced video watching, ugh.)

Wonder if @Barra has played this one?

Found a 10-level preview for Galencia (C64) linked in first post.

There's a great Super Mario runner game for droid/iOS out, sort of turns every level into a speed run that's more forgiving. I'm finding it pretty addictive!

Missile Command for the 2600 was actually a great port for its time. I spent many late nights trying to get to the “black” level!
