  • Another Defender Born!! Thanks Jomac!

Some of you newbies might not have seen the Defender build I did prolly a year ago.

Well I have built another. This time I went for a dark Grey metallic instead of black. Why? I reckon the shape of a cab gets lost with dark colours so I thought if I did it a bit lighter then things like the shape, t-molding, artwork etc would stand out more.

    Here are the pics.

Man I really like this one. The reds and yellows really shine. I am getting a lot better with the stencils as well. Excuse the grubby marks in pic #1. I forgot to wipe off the polish.

I must say thanks to Jomac for the chassis in this machine. Mate, the colours in the screen have blown me away! The depths in the colours really are a cut above of what I have seen. This won't be the last chassis I buy from you thats for sure!!

Hey DM247, those Yanks ain't got nothing on us mate.

    Enjoy peoples!!!

Another quality build yet again Spacies, well done.
Are the monitor bezel and marquee original or reproductions?

      Cheers.

      Both are repro's mate.
I colour match the marquee to the stencil work.
Its painted with car paint so its super smooove.

          Ta boss.

          Yep:

Hard to tell by pics. But you see what I mean about the shape getting lost in the blackness.

I can tell you this look much better than the other in the flesh. The camera and light make it look grey but it is very, very dark grey.
