Scotty T
The thread on my Bartop was locked :cry so I can't update it, so thus this new thread... Almost all go, attached the Monitor, wired all in, including the test and service buttons seen at the back (there's a panel to cover this) Waiting for mirror bolts, bought from UK , got 8 in total for about 5 pounds including shipping. Have got a switch with fuse and kettle plug connection, got this idea from Ryan and his bar top looks trick.... No idea how to wire this in so he's kindly going to take pics or a diagram, (hint hint) Also a Spacies fan grill, then I can wire in my green l.e.d. fan http://static.zooomr.com/images/4569187_7f9ff618ce_b.jpg http://static.zooomr.com/images/4569181_05fe8c2c80_b.jpg http://static.zooomr.com/images/4569207_e05275827d_b.jpg

We just need to make sure that thread stay on topic or close too the topic. P.S Mate promise I will take some pics tonight for you. Do you understand the wiring on the back of the plug? ie fuse etc :unsure

dmworking247
Man that is so simple yet so professional. Well done to you and to spacies for inventing such an easy bartop. I'm proud of mine but I dont think it'd ever be a 'done in one day' setup for anyone even if flat packed :) Oh, and looking closer at these, mine will weigh a shitload more (but still light enough to put in the car :D )
Scotty T
Thanks, It's a very impressive little unit. Hust some small touches and it's finished. I got his for more taking to BBQ's parties, easy to lug around.. And yes, thats one of Game Dudes 48 in 1... Which I've taken out of my Hankin Cocktail. Now need to put something in that... spacies
Looking good. Glad you are happy with it. How about some pics of it outside so we don't get the glare from the flash?
Scotty T
P.S Mate promise I will take some pics tonight for you. Do you understand the wiring on the back of the plug? ie fuse etc :unsure Thats what I don't under stand completely. It's got the live from where the plug connects going to the fuse. But not the Neutral? Then the rocker switch has four connections and none are joined. So a pic would be great!
spacies
Savage, take a pic of the back of the plug and I will draw you a diagram.

Scotty T
Ahhh cool, too easy I'd say the hardest part will be cutting out the square hole. Now to put this on the back or the side, hmmmmm (leaning towards the side)
spacies
You could put it in the base and get a power cord with a 90 degree plug.

Scotty T
It all good. I've got it on the back, with a bit more extension lead so the back panel can still come off without ripping it out... I was just unsure about how mines got 4 connectors at the back of the switch and the pic from spacies has 2, figured out the both are common and all worked a treat! http://static.zooomr.com/images/4577600_fe48d4a4b4.jpg http://static.zooomr.com/images/4577647_adb3757705.jpg
