All 4 gum merchandise chutes installed an extra couple of arms would have come in handy installing them.
Selector knob restored best I could, not perfect but passable.
Gum selector wheel sprayed and numbers painted on (thanks Jason for the advice)Click image for larger version

        Stoner candy machine restoration

Had a few issues with the gum vendor not working correctly, merchandise 2 was the only chute that worked correctly.
Found that the ejector drive arms were bent, as merchandise chute number 2 worked correctly I had a reference to bend the other 3 arms.
All 4 merchandise chutes and linkages were removed and arms bent back into shape.
Now awaiting zinc plating to continue assembly.
Will have to look at painting the candy machine shortly, want to have it painted in 2pac car paint. Anyone near the Sutherland shire that wants to give me a price let me know.
        CheersClick image for larger version

Finally getting back to finishing this project, due to concerns with warping due to heat generated when grit/soda blasting I ended up having the cabinet chemically stripped of paint.
Very impressed with the result the bottom of the stand had rust pitting prior to stripping.
Hopefully in the next few weeks paint will be completed.
