  • 1942 Cocktail Overlay & 60 in 1 Cocktail Overlay

A few people have contacted me in the past about this 1942 cocktail artwork and due to me being slack, busy, lazy or forgetful I hadn't got around to burning it off and sending it to everyone who wanted a copy, apologies to those involved.

Anyway I thought the best thing would be to upload in case anyone here wants access to it, the files are in Photoshop format.

Click on the picture to download these files:

Let me know if there's any issues with the links, I'm not sure if you have to sign up to download the files.

I am also currently working on artwork for 60 in 1 jamma board which I can upload when I'm finished, it's designed for a Leisure & Allied cocktail table.

It currently contains artwork for 48 of the 60 games, I'm not sure if I can cram in anymore, one thing for sure is the finished overlay won't have all 60 as some games are doubled up on the board, e.g. there's Galaga and quick shot Galaga etc.

Here's a picture of my work in progress, I've called it Retrocade but when I'm finished I will upload it in Photoshop format so if anyone wants to change the name or font they can.

It won't be finished for quite a while, I'm pretty much busy for the rest of the month and then I'm going away for three weeks in March so I don't think I'll be getting back to it till probably April.

Any feedback or suggestions on the 60 in 1 is welcome.

    Cheers.

    Phil

Awesome effort and thanks for sharing. Any chance of incorporating instructions for using the board? Like on the instruction card's I redid recently.

Perhaps on the sides above all the marquee's

Thanks Crafty, I was intending on doing some sort of line graphics along there, I guess I could put instructions in there instead.

Also mate if your short on time I'm happy to finish it in photoshop or take what you have so far incorporate the instructions and then post for everyone...

Regardless that is very nice work. Where did you find all the individual artwork from I looked on the net and had no where near a complete set

Thanks for the offer but I'm keen to do a few more things before I'm ready to share, mainly just incorporate more character artwork in to the logos and get the overlay shape right etc.

As soon as I get to that stage I'm happy to upload a file if you want to customise it for yourself and others.

As far as where I got the artwork from, I've made quite a few HyperSpin themes which included some of these games and most of the other artwork I got from other peoples HyperSpin themes, the rest from the Arcade Flyer Archive and google.

By posting the finished piece as a photoshop file it can be whatever we would like. Which is massive kudos to Retroborg, as it allows people to adjust it to suit their needs.
