Game Story:

Race a car around a maze-like track collecting flags while avoiding pursuing enemy cars. This sequel has slightly different graphics and a somewhat easier game play.

 

Score Submissions:

Please make a new post for each score you post, with your score as the first line of your post, along with a screen shot showing your score and initials. This game finishes Sunday 19 May 2019, 7pm Sydney time.

 

Please make sure your settings are as above. No continues are allowed when submitting a score and must be played from the beginning of the game. No pausing. No auto fire allowed. No stitching of INP files with save states. Single player only. No cheats allowed.

 

Games can be played at the arcade. You must ensure the arcade operator has the game at the MGL game settings for the submission to be valid.

Last played in MGL15 in mid 2012. That’s 7 years ago.

One of my favorites! Rally X was supposed to be bigger than PAC-Man but the original was too difficult so they came out with New Rally X.

I played this one a lot at the Disneyworld Contemporary Hotel arcade.

Had a few shots of the first Rally X before this to get a taste for the gameplay - man! What a tough nut. I like the cruisy little ditty in New Rally X; reminds me of the tune from the Namco Museum version of "Pac-Attack".
