The "I'll play again when I could give a stuff" opening score - 7450.

    Great game this one.

Normal difficulty makes it even harder than it already is on easy......

        MGLXXXIX - Game 1 ~ Elevator Action (closes 28-Apr)

One of my favorites! Some historical arcade context. This game was in between a Frogger and a Frontline at my local arcade. Somewhere along the line - one of those was replaced by Swimmer!

Very true. This is a hard game just on easy, medium spices it up even more. Interesting that all the barcades I have visited, including Netherworld, do not have Elevator Action. I am guessing Pincadia doesn't either. It's a coin muncher even on easy.

How did you go playing these games at your local arcade? Frogger is a fun game but can be a pretty short game. Frontline ramps up in difficulty pretty quickly (a Taito game, what else did I expect!!!). Then Taito throw in the tough Elevator Action. I am guessing back at your arcade, not many people were playing Frontline and Elevator Action for very long ...

You seem to have vanished in your screenshot. Are the bad guys using evaporators instead of bullets?

It's a super game. The music is as mental as any Taito game , I wonder where they come up with these crazy tunes and sounds. Zoo Keeper and Time Tunnel have some zany sounds too, both also from Taito.

I never played this much in the arcades, it was one of the older machines by the time I came across it.

Seen the title around for years but never played it; only a little of the C64 conversion. Lots to learn here. Happy to beat the default score at this point.
There's definitely some wacky hijinks to be had...
