2 of the 4 deaths should have never happened. This will go higher. Gotta get some rest for now. Tomorrow's another day.

Hopefully just a placeholder, I am away for a few weeks so have limited time to practice.

Played one last game with toothpicks holding my eyelids open. Now I can finally catch some zzzz's.

From there- it became a game in itself to see how long you could make that $20 last.
Obviously the harder games are more quarters.
I was one of those kids that could beat dragons lair on 1 credit. I knew which games took longer. Elevator Action and Time Pilot were two of my go to games for long play
Frontline- still a great game - while very hard - had a great ColecoVision port.
I haven’t played Frontline in a looong time because it really needs the proper controls to enjoy.
I still play Frogger and Elevator Action.

$20 would be worth 80 games of arcades, assuming there were no 2 coin games that you played. Frontline uses a special 8 directional knob, which also is a shot button when you press down. From memory Wild Western and Tin Star used the same control, both from Taito. SNKs TNKIII also had a similar control. OK so you played Elevator Action before for long play, so I hope you can find your magic and play this game for maybe a new PB.

From the screenshot, it looks like you were shot on floor 24, and you shot one of the the lamps down on floor 26. I guess if the lamp goes out, yes, it's a good time to catch some zzzzzzs, as long as you don't get shot while doing so ...

If you can make some headway, maybe the game will grow on you. It is a tough game to get used to surviving the enemy agents.

                        Day 3 of 17 ...

So many spies, so many documents, how is anything kept a secret these days?

A great start by many gamers on a very tough title. Only more tears of joy to come.

Almost finished floor 2; mistimed a jump though and virtually sat on a bullet.
