More Galaxian 🙄

You'll find this game is much different to Galaxian. Warp button in Galaxian? Looping fire birds, maybe harder to judge the shot due to the loop, and uses different letters than Galaxian. There are many more. Have fun playing this special game.

Time for another story from my deep, dark past :lol

I only remember seeing this game twice back in the day and one of those was from a distance as we drove by on the way to the pub. In either 1982 or 1983 a milk bar on Hoxton Park road near Liverpool had a machine out the front and I distinctly recall seeing the name Space Firebird on the marquee while we waited at the lights to turn left. Never got a chance to go in. The only time I got to play the game was a few years later at the original Summerhill Hotel in Melbourne. Considering the games they had there when we lived close by (Berzerk, Scramble, Defender, Galaxian, Qix, Ghostmuncher/UniwarS, Space Inveders and Frogger) Space Firebird was a bit of a backwards step

LOL. It's not easy hitting a looping bird.

Interesting how gamers have different tastes. I played Space Firebird around 1980 or 1981, about 1 to 2 years after I played Galaxian. I liked them both, but I preferred Space Firebird because of the IMO better colours and game play. It's very rare to see this game played, and it's also a tough one for high scores. Good luck in getting anywhere near your Galaxian high score, and that applies to all gamers. I'll do a comparison at the end of this game, to see if anyone can beat their Galaxian score ... :cry

That's all it takes. String a few of those together, and ... you have a long string ... I mean, you have an even greater score!

:lol

Keep going ... it always pays off.

Day 1 of 17 ...

Space Firebird ... what a challenge, what a mighty struggle for space supremacy ...

A great looking bird. Reminds me of Ho-oh, the bird in Pokemon.
