  • I got the colour issues ...

OK ... so I'm thinking a degauss might help the situation ... but I'll see what you all think before I go jumping the gun.

I believe what I have is a Kortec 25" based on posting certain numbers I discoverd into Google and seeing what came up. I've just got it all up and running this weekend and all is going well, except the colours are a little messed up. Things are reasonably clear, however on sides there is some serious red tinting going on.

I can post pics if that will help, but I'm just wondering if even based on that description anyone can give me some advice?

    Thanks ;-)

look for a small ajustement pot on the neck board (little board on the end of the tube) marked red and try adjeusting the red cut off.

best to put a mirror infront of the cabinet so you can see while adjusting.

I think red tinting on the sides is more likely to be magnetic related. Go with the degausser.
