  • Metal Hawk simulator repairs

Hi my name is Greg. I have a metal hawk helicopter simulator, 1988 namco jamma. I am having a few problems with the simulation side of the machine.
I find that the front drive goes through its cycle and centers itself but the rear drive only goes half way through the cycle and does not center. Therefore, it does not go into game mode and it just sits on the angle, bottoming out.I suspect a problem in the board. Just curious if anyone out there has a manual or technical data on the machine or some way to identify parts on the simulator driver board. Any other help regarding this would also be appreciated.
    Thanks greg

    Welcome gregsmall,

I'm out on this one. Maybe someone else can chime in.

ahhhh, Metal Hawk...Namco's Thunderblade clone (and the only helicopter game better than TB, IMHO).
...maybe, but then again "maybe" covers a lot of things, like: maybe Michael Jackson really is LaToya in drag, or maybe if Dorothy clicks her heels 3 times and says "There's no place like home" while she is at home, she would telefrag herself..." - MadMikeAU
