  • Any tips on removing this button?

    Hi all,

I'm trying to remove the button shown in the photo from the cabinet. I've removed the micro switch. But as you can see the nut won't fit over the black plastic part that was holding the micro switch. I've probably missed something obvious?

Just undo the nut and you should be able to wiggle the button out. Having said that I haven't seen those extra metal tabs before?

If it is a LED-lit button, you need to twist the middle section where the metal tabs are and it will then slide out.

You my friend are a good bloke, that was it!

It is indeed an LED button. I'm finding them quite clunky and looking to replace. I'm thinking of going with concave buttons. In terms of quality, are the iL ones considered the top performers these days?

There you go, I learn something as well as I haven't installed LEDs buttons before.
