    can a jamma board from america work on a jamma arcade cabinet in australia ? like will the monitor allow NTSC/PAL ?

    yup, there is no difference with jamma.

      To expand: NTSC/PAL is a signal standard. It has nothing to do with JAMMA, which is a connection standard.

            NTSC/PAL are standards of encoding color+sync. Ultimately the TV converts this into RGB+sync for the monitor to output.

            JAMMA works in RGB+sync, so no conversion is necessary.

            So even if your JAMMA PCB was made on Mars, it will work in any JAMMA cab.
