That's awesome! Think I might have to get one made up myself. Nice work

I have a contact in the US who just picked up the following ECL chips for me that are needed for the project from an electronics surplus store in Silicon Valley...

      50 x 10124
      50 x 10125
      50 x 10116
      20 x 10105

      All NOS in original tubes.
He'll look for the remaining ones and ECL RAM the next time he visits.

I'm starting on laying out the tracks on the CPU PCB this weekend.

I took a break from the PCB layout for a while but got some done today, a few hours were spent creating the solid silk layer footprints for components that aren't populated from factory (non-inverted video and audio amp). Started getting a few more tracks laid down but plan to spend the 5 day Christmas break working on it with the hope of completing it.
          Current progress...

Some decent progress made over the last few days, over halfway done.

Just a few more gaps to fill in and it's done, roughly 70 hours into it so far and still about 20-40 hours work left including routing about 50 more nets and checking for errors etc.

Just joined up today to follow this effort and lend a hand if I could.
I started recreating the schematics from all of the really bad scans out there...I don't have the original.

Attached is where I am but work is crazy busy right now and I haven't had much time to put into it.

Really excited to see some pics once the boards are produced and shipped - has there been any progress or is it on hold based on current circumstances?

Put me down for one or two kits when they are available, thanks

Any plans to do some fancy PCB colours, to really differentiate these from the older boards? It would be shame if these end up just as new PCB on the old drab bootleg style green media.

Am just thinking in 5 years time when they are part of someones collection (after the fun of building it has faded) that they should still stand out as something out of the ordinary.
                          Sic transit gloria Atari!

Black & red to suit Mario's colour scheme? Maybe Red, White & Blue to theme it like Billy Mitchell's tie perhaps?

Also, keen to get a set when they're ready. Looks awesome!

This is an amazing project, well done

If anyone ends up selling completed boards, count me in for one.

I just built a replica DK cabinet, I'm having to run either a 60 in 1 or Groovymame set-up in the meantime.
