    Heres a few pics from that nanao monitor

    Stoked, the pics dont even do it justice.

    Big thank you man my cab has gone from a JP special Green screen crap to a real Arcade machine worthy to be played.

        Yeah so does my Kids That was one of playwells 100% working but not carts, luckily I manage to fix it by replacing a E-prom.
        Waku Waku 7 is another nice colourful game I'll have to take piccy.

          I can feel the love in this Thread.

          That is a nice looking monitor (I say that with just a hint of jealousy )
          After some of the bad luck you've had with gameboards and monitors etc from people at other forums which have '80's' and 'arcade' in their name, it's good to see you finally get a bit of luck thrown your way

              Maybe you could sell that other monitor back to you know who, say it's in the same perfect condition you got it from him and will give a '30 day' warranty, but as long as you don't turn it on, touch it or even look at it... LOL

                Mate that monitor is going straight to the dump not unless anybody wants it in that case they can have it!
                Somebody could use it to fix a old green screen apple 2.

                  Might take you up on that, maybe next week, a friend of mine, who also got banned from a***** 80's because he was a friend of mine is in the scene, and asked me if I know anyone that can mod he MK board, I think he wants it to be rainbow edition, something like that!!!

                    Well I did try to edit my post before you replied
                    If you can find me the rom set to the rainbow edition anything is possible, we are talking MK1 right? is the Rainbow edition in mame? I would like to try this on my board first but.
                    I don't remember a Rainbow vers.

                    Just found a pic of the old monitor, the brightness has to be right down but you can still see the green in the back ground, gets worse as you turn up brightness.
                    This was taken when i was fixing a pac board.

                      have to check about the Mortal Kombat version, but I got about 6 DVDs worth of mame roms so should have it!!!
