    Hey Guys

On my main computer, when i push the on button, it starts up, like i can here the fans start etc, but after about 5 seconds it stops and there is no power.
If i disconnect the power and reconnect then the same thing happens.

    Have i killed my PSU?
    or is it something else?

ive noticed that the led on the motherboard is lit all the time so there must be some power getting through

i just unplugged all the cables from the back of the computer and plugged the ones i need back in. i managed to get it to start up but it stopped on loadup with a message saying "CPU is unworkable or has been changed. Pls recheck CPU Soft Menu"
So i hit del and restored all previous settings in bios. it booted up fine after that.
so what just happened? has some hacker or program changed my bios?

Sounds like your BIOS or power regulation just flipped out briefly during its POST (Power On Self Test). If you reset the BIOS to defaults and it works lucky you.

I doubt you are/where being hacked.
