Welcome to VPGL23 Game8 Big Bang Bar nominated by visual pinball legend Crackers or Richard.m. 😁Can't remember which one but thankyou for a very fine nomination. This game was released originally designed by Capcom in June 1996. The game was released by Pinball Manufacturing.inc, a division of Illinois Pinball inc after the Capcom pinball division closed down. The game had a production run of 183 machines so what a privilege it is to be playing this gem. The game was designed by Rob Morrison & artwork by Paul Mazur and Stan Fukuoka. We are playing the 3 ball version. We have the option of playing a number of fantastic version including recent game reproduction by VPinWorkshop. Who will be our champion banger and who will be left hungover on the floor.mmmmmmmm🤔

Cost: Free Entry plus you get a bag of game tokens
Where: Netherworld Arcade - 186 Brunswick St, Fortitude Valley, Brisbane, QLD
When: Saturday the 6th of May 10am to 12pm midday
What: This edition of Arcade Club is designed to help you sharpen up your skills on the well-known 60-in-1 arcade game set.
The Competition will run as a Frenzy style event where you're randomly assigned an opponent and you then get assigned one of the games randomly selected from the 60-in-1 set.
You have 2 chances (each chance goes for 90 seconds) to get the highest score in that randomly selected game - the person who gets the highest score across the attempts takes the win for your round.
You're then put against another opponent on another randomly selected game to battle again. This format will run from 10am(ish) to Midday sharp, with the placings being based on your win-loss ratio gained throughout the comp.
This is by no means a hardcore comp and it is aimed to be a friendly and informative morning for the classic arcade gaming community and to help welcome all newbies who attend, so sharing skills, hints & tips as you play is encouraged.
There are Netherworld Drinks tokens up for grabs for those who place!

By DAG,
Why Cash only if there are no cash prizes?
Have you read the charter for running events yet and the comment regarding all money after expenses go back to the player?
So my question is why cash only?

Australian Open Pinball Championships December 2023
By nich2pat,
Interested in the card format, haven't played one of those before.
Classic and High Stakes events for following years sound interesting.
