Ok i've gone through alot of headache of setting up a Virtual Pin, using an old Bingo Machine cabinet.

Took about 5 weeks of stuffing around with my limited knowledge of visual Pinball, managed to get most of the B2B backglasses tables working, had trouble with the analogue plunger so changed it to a micro switch
Visual pinball programs got most of them working, if i couldnt get a table working it got deleted, couldnt get Future pinball working but got about 340 VP9 working in pinballx.

ive put micro switches under the coin reject button to so to add coins to VP
there was a secret button underneath the plunger which works out well for the launch button

Bingo Cabinet $200
Old PC Intel core 2 duo CPU E7400 @ 2.80GHZ with GTX750 $150 VC $200 pc? using old subwoofer and speakers (looking for better on Scumtree)
39.5 inch TV $275 x2
buttons switches wires form old bingo machine $20
225 for pin ab controller
$150 for PF and bg tinted glass
Flipper buttons, leaf switches spares
about $1700 all up,

now the biggest issue is im looking at running a 68cm CRT monitor as a backglass, will post more about how i go at a later date, why you ask? because its 4:3 and will suit the 2 monitor set up better imo.

Stock it looks very similiar to mine although I designed mine on that style of cabinet. Great job but I would not be using CRT for the backglass. You can mount LCD in it and keep the original design. Use a 16:9 rotated with the little excess dropping in into the bottom out of sight. It will look HEAPS better as that back bos is very close to 16:9 already

Cheers,
Brad

+1 ^^^^^^ what Brad said.

However, rather than positioning the "excess" portion of the backglass screen so it goes into the bottom part of the cab, consider having it protrude ABOVE the top of the backbox and you can then use it as topper display. ;)

It's a shame the old bingo machine had to be sacrificed for the project

Oh good to hear, I love those old EM Bingo machines and thought it would be a shame to see it get transformed :)

I've never thought of the digital topper thing.... Have you ever configured it? Can you make it change per table etc.?

I have no idea! All I did was throw out the suggestion, I've never actually tried it. :(

There may be some way to set up a sort of template in a similar way to what you can do in MAME with artwork, bezels etc.

ok so i've pretty much finished my pincab
maybe a few tweaks as some of the back glasses are a little off centre (mainly the EM ones)
but here it is, more photos will come later when i get the camera working again, these are off my phone.

it has a tinted backglass which gives the impression of wideness, bit like a cocktail game glass, even though the actual backglass picture is still smaller.

Very nicely done skids. Clever use of the tinted glass over the backglass monitor to create that effect.

How have you positioned your speakers?

Here are all the photos

the original backbox before before it was cut down - minus the timber frame - look in later photos to notice the difference

had to modify the cabinet to fit the backglass tv as the bingo cabinet is slightly shorter than a standard pinball (about 50mm)

so only 3 bolts needed to hold the backbox now
