3 people in my office already ordered one, delivery date according to order process was 11th of november*. I just got a Asus Transformer TF701t tablet (Tegra 4) so holding off on more phone/tablet purchases...

* Apparently it said 6th of Nov for people who ordered last night, so coming in batches, hopefully it is better organised than the Nexus 4 mess.

Would love to get one, but I only just bought a nexus 4! Thinking I might offload that to the wifey and buy me a new nexus 5! The 4 is great though with plenty of processing power and speed. I can't really imagine the need for a quicker phone, especially if the new operating system (Kit Kat) improves system resources such as RAM and CPU usage as promised. It does look well sexy though and the wife needs an upgrade from an ailing Samsung Galaxy S2, so there is hope yet! On another note, could probably pick up another cheap nexus 4 as all the fan boys transition to the nexus 5!

Yep.
About to come off contract with my Galaxy Nexus - so will buy this outright and find a good BYO plan.
(not that the Galaxy Nexus has been a bad phone - it works great, but I've disliked the camera and the speaker volume is bad).

Reviews have generally been positive - and while camera/sound has been labelled as "average", at least that is a step up from bad.
