Yep rudder as well, also steerable rear wheel.

First two flights went well and nothing broken. Went to a field at Emerginton and the guys there were friendly.

My mate killed his plane which was disappointing but funny at the same time

The Mx2 is nice. Collections can grow quick I have hit 16 planes in 9 months I tend to get a bit obsessive.

How the kinetic, I keep looking at it brother the spirit.

Also get yourself an 808#16 camera, it is great for the price and size.

The kinetic has just giving me issues for some reason so not a big fan of it.

The maiden for the mx2 should be over the best two weeks

It seems to get mixed reports, that's why I was looking at the spirit.

I am going maiden my new edge in the morning. http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__39192__H_king_High_Performance_Racer_Series_Edge _540_V3_800mm_PNF_AUS_Warehouse_.html

Speed controller caught on fire mid flight and I lost control. The battery was okay it broke free on the crash.

I wrote if off as I had at least 50 flights on it in about 6 months.

Then a few days later I thought it should be under warranty so I lodged a claim and the approved it 7 days later. I used the store credit to buy the edge and a Bonsai.

I was surprised as all you hear are bad things about HK but they did come through in this case.

I have also had a lipo fire

http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-V2HgFvdcv6I/UraFA3itbiI/AAAAAAAABlQ/nQRzC9qHC9A/s400/photo%2B3.JPG

But this one was my fault, playing combat with a mate and I attacked and collided, I lost. Lipo was cactus but the plane was up flying again the next day.

Wow that is a bonus from HK. They are temperamental things but are awesome fun

fark, you guys make me so want another plane to play with the kids! at the same time a little voice says "you know you crashed plenty 35 years ago, why go there again?" but i did just buy a glider with electric prop and a rc unit and my lad is so wanting to get it up and flying ... he cant understand why he is on holidays and dads working his guts out which means its not being finished (like slots/arcades/paving/landscaping/packing neons/etc).....

Must say that the foamies are good as they are really easy to repair if it all goes wrong. The secret is to just get height before you try anything else such as turning etc and glide them in for landing.

The biggest issue is how much room they take up

How many does that make it now, and where do you store them?

The Delta Ray I just bought takes up quite a bit of desk real estate.

Manta
14th March 2014, 07:22 PM
5 now. Yep storage is the issue as well as transport. I made a shelf out of pvc pipe to transport them around

The table legs are a good idea, very neat.

Just had a look at it in the garage. Technically can't get it until my birthday Sunday. Just hoping the wind is nice a low for a good flight.

Had her out on the weekend, been a while... Not happy with the turnigy wooden props though, less pull (for matching size and pitch) than the regular APC ones... :-/
