Having looked at some other Traxxas car with the vxl systems, this thing has the potential to go bloody quick. The xo1 can go 100mp pretty much right out of the box.

the xo-1 will do 100mph out of the box after you unlock it with your iphone, if you have one:lol or it does 60mph out of the box in stock standard race trim

Wasn't all that long ago that Traxxas were essentially just toys. They sure have come a long way (",)

Back many years ago when I was into the hobby, Traxxas were a budget brand who specialised in selling ready to run/pre-assembled cars (most cars back then were in kit form). I had a couple of Traxxas cars and whilst they were cheap and hassle free, their performance was pretty poor, especially compared with my TA and Kyosho cars. Funny how things change.

P.s. wtf is up with docking to an iPhone? Fark I hate Apple.

The first traxxas buggy was a clone of the nikko bison f-10 frame buggy. the nikko was a clone of the hornet if i remember correctly and could swap parts between the two fairly easily

There is a difference between a toy and a model. That was the difference between Traxxas and Tamiya
