Does an LAI skill tester count? It's just relays, switches and motors.

Can I ask this question:

Of those who do own an EM Arcade Machine, would you ever sell it?

AND would it go un-noticed if up for sale in the regular for sale area?

It would be snapped up in no time I am sure

Maybe a sub category for EM restores, but the list could go on forever, and get confusing

Unlikely.

I'm not so sure. In my experience, EM stuff is like B&W video games; the pricing of them is very erratic, there's little rhyme or reason to pricing of them. I've bought & sold B&W stuff for both crazy money and almost free, just can't pick it. And from what I've seen, EM pricing is a bit like that, although maybe not as volatile. (Colour video stuff is a lot easier to put a reliable price on.)

Still, that's just IMHO :)

I agree with this; too many categories can be painful, I think we already are verging on this.

EM arcade games are cool for a week.

I had 9 of them at one stage from the early 1960s to the mid 1970s. Mostly car racing and gun games.

Have sold them off over the past few years and haven't regretted letting them go.

The only one I have kept is a nice Chicago Coin TV Baseball from 1966.

Why did they get sold? They look real cool but you can play them blindfolded after a few days. Why keep the baseball game? It's pretty close to a pin and fun to play with every game being different.

I own a few EM games and they are not for sale.;);) In fact I think that the prices of certain EM games will rise way above that of pinnies. I am only buying EM,s at the moment ..

Flying Circus - Orignal working 100%
Gun Patrol - Orignal working 100%

I have a Williams Jungle Drums. It used to be out on street ops but some drunken bozo up the country decided he wanted the rifle and pretty well trashed it. I have the woodwork but the barrel has gone. He also managed to break off the trigger guard and the trigger. The gorilla target has also broken off at some stage.
I have it in working condition - just have to fix the rifle and glue on the gorilla!

Go to Youtube & type in Torrence collection, this is a good starting point. He has some of the best restored machines around.
Look for EM machines he has with that are made by Sega such Motopolo & Moto Champ.
There are plenty of other links, i hope this helps.
