Hi Guys,

I have found a problem with a light not working and found it was a dead SCR.
the lamp driver board is AS-2518-23, the replacement code for the SCR are:
2N5060 or 2N5064, i cant find this part number at jaycar?
Is there an equivelant? or one that would do the same job?
Would any one know the part number?
Thanks.

I sell the 2N5060 (http://www.audiovisualdevices.com.au/viewprod.php?catid=&productid=2N5060) these if you can't find them locally.

go for davids but if you are looking for these and other bally ss parts then great plains electronics and bigdaddy pinball parts in the US are really good. they sell kits that allow you to do a whole board but for a one-off david's equiv should sort you.

Yeah, the 2N5060 is the correct part for those boards. I had to replace a couple on my Bally machine.

Its best to use the 2N5064 as they are a higher voltage rating and easier to source,GPE dont stock the 2N5060's any more,I have some Ang see you when you get here

Im putting blinkers on you Narf next time your at the shed you seem to know more about what I have than I do

Not trying to hijack this thread...
But, if you replace the 2N5060's & they don't work, check out my thread "Bally / Stern 2N5060 issue"
