Howdy all,
In the words of a famous AUSSIE icon known as Big Kev......
I'M EXCITED !!!!!!!!!!!

Just picked up my very first pinball project, a working SEGA FRANKENSTEIN.......

It is still in German and I am already onto that side. Needs a good clean, new rubbers and globes and a couple of little (very minor) licks of paint.

I will post initial pics later tonight and then more as it progresses....

WOOOOOOOHHHHHHOOOOOOO !!!!!!!!!!!

PS: Thanks Morrieman and Gibo for the new pin and hopefully it will soon look a million buckeroos.......

STAY TUNED !!!!!!!!

Pics as promised..................

Nice.
Whats the game like? I know of one near me that needs a good home and have heard good reports about the game , Wizard mode etc.
How much spondulla did you pay and whats a MSF worth anyways.
96 Pinball :unsure must be worth a few dollars.

Its a nice game. Plenty of modes and the multiball is pretty sweet.

In terms of price - i have mine on ebay at the moment and have had some offers round the 2k mark.

Appreciate that Narfunkle man !!!!

I was enthusiastic this afternoon and stripped the lower playfield for a spot of cleaning... Took everything off the lower section and cleaned the dirt off, then wacked some novus on and rubbed it nicely (:lol). Replaced the plain clear globes with new coloured ones and what a difference.....

Before pics.......... (notice the dirt under the plastics and the old worn out rubbers)

Yes it will.......... It is brass - so anyone with any suggestions for polishing a tarnished brass ramp, please feel free to advise.... :lol:lol

Nice one mate, but what happened to the Stellar Wars project?

Little bit too much for a first project so sold it onto another member for parts.

Doesn't look much different (before after shot) besides new rubbers. Lucky pick up.

Yeh i used x-treme metal polish or something to clean my ramps when my machine arrived. Its like an infused cotton wool.

Worked an absolute treat - mine were in a similar shape but they came up really well after that.

It was a working project and simply needed a good clean. You will notice the dirt under the slingshot plastics and the playfield has a layer of dust over it. The ramps are covered in dust and a few globes are broken or blown..... and that's about it.

I am very happy with the overall condition of it.

Brasso and soft cloth or maybe a plastic type pan scourer if really needed

Back in the old military days some people used to get their brass electroplated to stop further corrosion so they didnt have to clean the bloody things every day, I wonder how much that would cost for a whole ramp?

Here are a few pics of the playfield, brass ball cages and ramps now they have been cleaned and polished...

HUGE THANKS to Joey (Jomac) for burning the new English ROMS for me this afternoon......... Your a CHAMP !!!!!

Great machine and great price. Some guys have all the luck.

There was mention of one for sale for $3000.....it would want to be in mint condition and have a new display in it for that sort of money IMO. Franky is an underrated machine but I don't think they are worth that much.

Such busy artwork, I love it. Always something new to find on the playfield.

This is one of my would like to owns... I used to play a few when they were sited. Love the 666666666666666666 multiball craziness!

This and a BSD would be neat for the "dark corner" of the games room!
