Many will probably know of this trick anyways...........

Threw all my transparent posts in the dishwasher, in a secure cage that sits on the lower shelf. They were quite dull and grimy.

Came out looking like new, glass like finish.

I use the "standard" setting on the dishwasher, runs at about 70 degrees in temperature.

Have you ever tried flame-polishing them after cleaning them in the dishwasher?

I hung some from a piece of galvanised wire and hit them with a blowtorch. It adds an extra "sparkle" to them.

Also give Beer and Keg Line Cleaner a try (brewing supplies shop). It has/is oxygen bleach (or something??). Cleans them up quite well too.
