Hi guys,
Got myself an Indy yesterday and know there's quite a few members here with them so a few questions I hope you can help with.....
- I've heard people refer to a "lost plastic" that is apparently rare?? What is this and where do I look to see if I have it?
- One side of the cab is very good but the other side and front is faded - what's the quality of the decal sets on ebay like? I think it's Mr Pinball selling them and they're always there for $299. I remember Gatherer saying you can get shit quality decal sets and they're not worth bothering with.

- I haven't attempted to clean or polish the gold wire ramps or legs yet so may not be a problem but how can you get these redone if they don't polish up. I remember Markc saying he gets them redone? Are you there Mark?? What's the process and who do you take them to to get it done?
I was up most of last night playing this game - man how good is it!!!

Well i dont own one but can answer your questions

- Lost plastic is a plastic that goes on the playfields backboard and you can see it here

You can also get a lighting kit for behind the lost plastic, an aussie guy makes a kit, check it out its pretty cool and looks great

- Mr Pinballs decals are apparantly top notch and are screen printed on top quality stuff using original art files. They have a small hologram added because alot of shitty repros were out there in the market and people were paying for what they thought was a good product.

- I was thinking of doing the same to a gold wire ramp on WCS but found a NOS one which worked out cheaper than having them plated. Ive heard its costly to get a nice job done on them but yeah maybe markc can help you out with a lead, couldnt give one to me because he gets good rates from the guy or something

You might wanna get the mode start bounce out reducer if its not already installed, not sure if this is the cheapest place

ok polishing the gold wire ramps was a bad idea because it removes the gold so I guess plating them is the answer??

Well my wire ramps aren't gold, but I too was thinking of getting them gold plated, it would look sweet!!

I put a set of Stickers / decals and for my mind they are excellent, well worth it for the improvement you get.
I also have the lost plastic and light board behind it (had it when I got it) and have seen the Indi's without it, I would definately get them, makes it look a lot better!...

One other thing I did which also makes it look a lot better was good some wood iron on trim from Bunnings, spray paint it black and iron it on the top box edges, you'll have to trim it, finsihes it off very nicely!
