Gentlemen (and any ladies if they are here), the time has come to submit your DVD material of you and your pinballs in action. I commence holidays in September and should be ready about then to restore 2 Pinball Pool machines.

IF everything goes to plan, I should be able to throw together a DVD.

What I anticipate the DVD to cover:

Backglass "reproduction".
Cabinet restoration/respraying (cabinets are completely hacked).
Playfield touchups*
Use of local products/where to buy them etc.
Any troubleshooting along the way.

What you are invited to submit:

2 - 5 minutes of you and your pinballs.
Put a face to a name (if you like).
You doing something goofy (if you like)

To be submitted on a DVD.
File type to be able to be read/edited by XP Movie Maker.

There is no guarantee that this will all pan out and it will be ready by the end of September, this will be my first attempt at making a DVD so I will have lots to learn about editing etc.
Do not expect it to be fantastic video quality and production (I will do my best).

*
I may, just may, attempt an entire playfield scan and have an overlay made up.

PRICE: unknown at this time, less than $10 I would anticipate. Less for contributors.

IF ANYONE CAN MAKE SUGGESTIONS REGARDING FILE TYPES PEOPLE SHOULD USE ON THEIR DVD'S, OTHER BETTER MOVIE MAKING SOFTWARE (FREEWARE) I CAN USE, PLEASE DROP ME A LINE.

POSTAL ADDRESS TO BE SUPPLIED AFTER ENOUGH INTEREST GENERATED ON THIS THREAD.

PLEASE DROP A REPLY ON THIS THREAD AND KEEP ON THREAD TOPIC.

bugger this wasn't done earlier

i have stripped and retouched a Williams Superstar that had fairly bad wear

last stage is the clear coat which will be done in a few weeks

I doubt it could be filmed. i will be doing it in a garage with a compressor and air gun so I think you would want to stand well back

i don't have a camera for a start and secondly I have a bad feeling that the clear is going to go everywhere and would not want that stuff on a camera
