not a good look, now , no more wear:)

we tried to get these rails here, no one stocks them, not even AMD

we were told too expensive too import, quoted $400 for postage

got them from Bay Area for $50 US, plus $40 postage

ordered on Thursday night arrived Newcastle Tuesday

Sorry to say, but they look pretty ord.. :o

I think I prefer the look with the wear.. And now there looks to be an additional 3 holes where the rails have been secured to the cabinet.

The good thing about these Stern siderails are they will fit straight on late model Data East/Sega games, great for fixing Cab art on a Frankenstein

I think it looks great, like all the late model Sterns

Just fit some black screws

This comes down to personal preference - in this case the wear was so bad that the new rails are a vast improvement imo.

I prefer the normal rails, but I prefer these than to the wear!...

Good solution to if you can't get replacement side art!

That was the worst cabinet wear around flippers i've seen.....even the wood was deeply worn:o , considering the machine isn't all that old.

I think the new rails are a big improvement and look great!

The new rails look much better than the damage on show beforehand. Money well spent.

IMO, what you did is exactly what I would have done in your situation.

It has covered most the wear so thats better then nothing.

I much rather standard rails, why couldn't stern have flipper protectors from factory I don't know. :unsure **** KNOWS!

Its good to see also that a game like this got so many plays it has worn the way it has. Must be a good game :unsure
