Thanks Berty, But looks like this site has more "genric" parts... Like a "RS" of arcade parts.. I`m looking for more specfic parts for Sega arcade machines... These parts were made for a specfic machine by sega.. So not realy "genric" enough.... Decals ect..

Thanks for the help though! :D Cat was 20MB.. but well woth the read! :)

I have contacted a sega place in US.. but they want part numbers.. i don`t have a manual for this machine.. I have searched for ages for one... There was a paper one on e-bay.. But i missed it :(

you can get parts not listed in the suzo catalogue, but again you need to quote part numbers.

www.riverservice.co.jp are also good, but you will need to be very specific when dealing with them. What sort of machine are you after parts for?

What game(s) are you after stuff for? I might be able to assist in tracking down the part numbers.

Thanks guys.. I was trying not to say..

OK call me paranoid.. (but i transported it from Syd to Bris... And drove down to get it...!!!) I`m always worried some one might find me and steal it.. But it is heavy and hard to move.. so maybe i`m paranoid.. ;) Also security is good here...

It`s a Sega ThunderBlade "sit in" Deluxe unit.. It`s a hoot to play! One of my fav games!

It`s not in great nic.. I have it electronically working.. But needs decals, paint and lots of cosmetic parts...

Decals i think will be my hardest area.... Some would be hard to reproduce... cos there half missing or destroyed...

I've got the marquee. Dunno if I'd part with it though.
-------------

I remember a bloke in the states selling a beat up Thunder Blade in pieces (each piece a separate auction) on eBay not so long ago (weeks ago). No help, I know.

http://www.seriousviewers.com/sega/thunder.htm

You may find this page helpfull. Its some bloke's detailed repair log for his Thunder Blade.

------------------------

Also, this bloke has a bunch of stuff, and a heap of good links to research...
http://www.basementarcade.com/

One of his links, is this...http://www.phoenixarcade.com/ ...they do repros of a shite load of pinball and arcade stuff. Thunder blade inst mentioned, but no harm in asking.

---------------------------

The only manual I could find on the net was for the upright version. Altough it did have all the part numbers (including for the decals), its for the upright version.
The sit down version manual is on ebay...

...US$20 + postage, though. It would have all the part numbers, with the added bonus of helping you to service the hell out of ya machine !!!

Sega sent me the parts list for the sit down!!! (Thanks SEGA!!) So now i have part numbers. Have to add this to our data achive.. if we start it.

So i`ll see what parts they have.. They reckon they don`t have much..

Thanks for all the help guys! :D This will be a long and hard restore me thinks! ;)

Have you got the stand up version???

That would be cool.. But don`t need the banner. The sit it "deluxe" version doesn`t have one! :D Not that it needs one.. the machine is huge and heavy!!! :D

Also it looks like a chopper... so i think people don`t need to be told what kind of game it is ;)

Thunderblade in the sit down version is great. You are looking slightly down at the screen. You dont really notice it at first, but you are. When you first take off and the ground drops away from you, it induces a real sence of vertigo that no other game does.
Excellent.

hi i found a website called http://www.segashed.co.uk/ they have heaps of sega spar parts there is even a search function for parts you dont even know the name of. although there in the uk so shipping might be quite damaging. also check out river service http://www.rs2006.co.jp/ thier site is a mess but if you email one of their peeps and tell them what you want they should be able to get it for you
